ERP Implementation, Answered Honestly.
The questions we hear most often from US and European businesses evaluating Odoo — on cost, timelines, time zones, past failures, and ongoing support.
We're based in Ahmedabad, India. Our time zone is actually an advantage — we do focused implementation work during our daytime and are available for calls during US (EST/PST) and European (CET) business hours. Many of our clients tell us they get faster turnaround because we're working while they sleep.
Phase 1 typically ranges from $10K–$40K depending on complexity, number of users, and modules needed. This is 70–80% less than comparable implementations from Big 4 firms. We always provide a fixed-price proposal after the discovery phase — no surprises.
Most ERP failures happen because of big-bang implementations — trying to do everything at once. We implement in focused phases, starting with your biggest pain point. Each phase delivers measurable value on its own. If Phase 1 doesn't work for you, you haven't committed to Phases 2–5.
For businesses with 50–500 employees, Odoo offers the best balance of capability, flexibility, and cost. It covers the same ground as SAP or NetSuite for manufacturing, retail, and logistics — but at a fraction of the implementation cost and timeline. It's also open source, so you're never locked in.
Phase 1 typically goes live in 6–10 weeks for manufacturing, 4–8 weeks for retail. We always start with a focused scope — the top 3 pain points — rather than trying to implement everything at once.
Yes. While our primary focus is US and EU markets, we work with businesses globally. ERP implementation is largely remote work — workshops, configuration, testing, and training can all be done effectively over video calls.
We offer monthly support retainers ($500–$1500/month depending on scope) that cover daily questions, small configuration adjustments, report modifications, and planning for future phases. We don't disappear after go-live — that's when our expertise matters most.
Yes. Data migration is part of every implementation. We import your products, customers, suppliers, inventory, and historical transactions. We do test imports with sample data first, verify accuracy with your team, then do the full migration at go-live.
